ALOHA and Welcome.

I am just starting my blog! I will be sharing with you my work process,

my inspirations and the life in Hawaii.

Many people contact me with different questions about what I do and I am always more then glad to share.

I am Michal, 31 years young (I still believe i am 16)

I was born and raised in Israel, at the age of 19 i moved to Paris.

The first school I attended was clothes design. I was sure I wanted to be a clothes designer, but my passion for painting was even stronger so after that, I went to study Visual Arts at the Sorbonne university, also in Paris. It was an amazing time in my life, great teachers, great students and a lot of hard work. It was also very challenging with the language - but I made it!

It is so overwhelming to be surrounded by all this amazing art and beautiful pieces. Spending those years in Paris allowed me to see the original master pieces of all times.

The artists that touched me most deeply were Marina Abramovic, Cy Twombly and Paul Gauguin. I think that i am mostly touched by the sincerity of their creations.

Living in Paris also allowed me to visit other European countries and view more of the contemporary art in Rome and London.

I am truly blessed that i have found my way to Hawaii. Life here have been so amazing and have led me to see in my eyes completely different things in nature. I will write another time about the differences I found not only in nature and society, but also how it influenced my artistic vision. It is very rewarding journey mixed with a lot of hard work, many hours of painting, frustration, failures, and disappointments, merged with joy, inspiration, traveling, exploring and exchanging that requires a lot of courage, faith, focus, love and determination. I am happy that today I am able to share with all of you successfully my art work in many different ways. I would like to thank all of you, wherever you are in the world, for being supportive and loving towards what I do. Without people to enjoy my paintings in their life and hearts, my paintings can't shine as they should.
